Electrical Steel Coating for Bonded Lamination Stacks
Controlled Coating for Reliable Bonded Lamination Stacks
Electrical steel coating plays a critical role in bonded lamination stacks, directly influencing insulation performance, stacking quality, and long-term motor reliability. We apply electrical steel coating in-house to ensure stable insulation properties, consistent coating thickness, and full compatibility with bonded stacking processes. Our coating process is designed to support high-performance motor cores, where dimensional accuracy, magnetic behavior, and process stability are equally important.
In-House Electrical Steel Coating Capability
Electrical steel materials are sourced from a broad and proven supply base, primarily domestic mills. Before production use, materials are tested and validated to ensure suitability for bonded lamination stacks. Coating is applied internally at our facility, allowing us to control:
- Coating uniformity and thickness
- Insulation performance between laminations
- Adhesion behavior during bonded stacking
- Consistency across batches and material lots
Optimized for Bonded Stacking Processes
Unlike conventional lamination stacks, bonded stacks place higher demands on coating compatibility. Our electrical steel coating is selected and controlled to work reliably with full-surface bonding, supporting:
- Stable insulation between laminations
- Clean bonding interfaces without contamination
- Consistent stacking factor and geometry
- Reliable mechanical integrity of the stack
Material Support and Thickness Range
We support a wide range of electrical steel thicknesses commonly used in precision motor cores, including:
- 0.05mm
- 0.1mm
- 0.15mm
- 0.2mm
Both silicon steel and soft magnetic alloy materials can be processed, depending on application requirements. Customer-supplied materials are also supported, subject to technical evaluation and coating compatibility verification.
